Pizza Hut Australia had a Facebook page in its infancy, and a disjointed community packed with negative sentiment. When M&C Saatchi folded the social media business in with the rest of the advertising account, I was charged with developing community guidelines, setting weekly and monthly content plans in place, creating content, managing and driving the community, increasing engagement, decreasing negativity, and driving sales. We achieved all this and more, growing the page from 100,000 to 400,000 fans in 10 months, increasing positive sentiment, and streamlining customer service processes on social media.
