No longer a cultural pursuit where girls curl their hair and perform for the parishioners after church on Sunday, Irish dancing is now an elite sport, with families investing thousands of dollars each year on classes, costumes, and international travel to compete. With this step up, training is also taking a step up, with coaches engaging the services of nutritionists, sports psychologists, physiologists, and hair & makeup artists. We wanted to help parents and dancers understand how they can take their preparation up a level, with a weekly editorial piece focusing on one aspect. We interview experts, write, edit, publish, distribute to our huge mailing list, and engage on social media. We also have an online store packed with inspirational posters, phone cases, tees, hoodies, and seasonal items.
