Teen Focus Groups

When Dolly Magazine, Australia's number one teen magazine, wanted to do focus groups, we knew regular '8 around the table' just wasn't going to cut it. Teen girls are a tough audience, and to get the best out of them we needed to keep them engaged and stimulated, while also covering off a variety of topics. I devised a 90 minute session that used four moderators and allowed us to speak to 28 girls at once, maximising time and efficiency while also producing great results. Not only did we successfully gain useful insights for editorial, but this went on to be a revenue driver for the Dolly advertising team.
